24 Questions Videos

Lorraine Williams of The Thyroid Trust interviewed thyroid cancer survivor, Joanna Dixon, in September 2020, for the first of a new series, TTT 24 Questions, which has developed since then and is ongoing.

TTT 24 Questions is inspired by the 24 Fingers series by Emma Goode, which Lorraine was interviewed for in May 2020, for International Thyroid Awareness Week.

The aim of the TTT24Q discussions, is to help raise the profile of people with thyroid disease who are involved with The Thyroid Trust, explore their experiences and air some of the issues that matter to them. We are finding that the process of making the videos helps strengthen our relationships with some of our thyroid friends and means we all feel less alone!

Let us know by commenting below if you enjoy watching the interviews and if you'd like to see more similar content - thyroid friends chatting and getting to know each other, with some surprises. Watch out in Joanna's interview for a guest appearance by Hope the dog!

Joanna was our first guest interviewee because September is thyroid cancer awareness month and she is volunteering with us to raise awareness and fundraise to support our vital work.  After her interview she went on to interview Judith Taylor, our chair of Trustees and a two times thyroid cancer survivor and Judith then went on to interview Karen George, another of our founding Trustees who  has Graves' Disease and is living without a thyroid.

You can watch all the videos in the TTT series and the prequel with 24 Fingers, below.
