Butterfly Art

Handmade butterfly brooches to wear and enjoy

We love our dear thyroid friend Amy's creativity - she is raising awareness of thyroid disease with these precious little butterfly artworks and has sent us some of her lovely little fluttery friends to share with you. They have made us smile and smile.

They range from 4cm to 9cm wide and are all handmade and absolutely beautiful.

If you'd like to help raise awareness of thyroid disease and maybe start some conversations with your friends and family by wearing one of these, we’d love to send you one.

We suggest a minimum donation of £6 or more for each one. Please be generous if you can.

Choose the colours you like, send us your donation and message us your details using this form.

Follow Amy's amazing awareness raising for Graves' Disease in May 2022 on Twitter - click the Alt Text on each artwork to see what she says about each one. They are very powerful.

Telling our stories through art.

Do the people in your life know that the thyroid is a butterfly shaped gland in the neck? Do they know all the ways that it can influence physical and mental health?

Art and crafts can be a great way of starting conversations. Do you ever think of creating something inspired by your thyroid? What would you make? What would you want to say?

What would you say if you met a friend on the street wearing one of these #thyroidawareness butterfly brooches. Would seeing one make you feel less alone with thyroid disease?

Follow Amy on Twitter  to see more of her beautiful creations.

for everyone affected by thyroid disease
