Muriel is taking part in our Summer Seaside Walk, from Broadstairs to Ramsgate, on 17th August 2019! Thank you Muriel for being one of our first ever fantastic fundraisers!
Find our more about this event here and let us know if you'd like to get involved. We'd be thrilled if you can support Muriel by making a donation.
"I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 2015. My particular type is an auto-immune disease, and I think it is because, I was caring for my Father at home for many years. Since then, I have being taking levothyroxine and, I believe it has helped me. I still get very tired if I have being over doing it, but the key to all of this is, plenty of rest and then I am fine.
Hypothyroidism is a medical condition which runs in my Father's side of the Family. I have received lots of help and knowledge from my relatives, who in some cases are much worse than me, and have suffered far longer."
We are so grateful to have Muriel's support for this event and would also like to say thank you to her friends and family who are so kindly getting behind her.
It means the world.
